Northern Sound System's Newest Program is here! Level Up is exactly as it sounds; an opportunity for pre-emerging bands to level up their sound, develop new skills and expand their knowledge of the music industry. Through tailored mentorship from local creatives, bands will receive a multifaceted program experience, equipping them with the skillset needed to accomplish their music goals and set themselves up for success. 

If you are a band seeking to embark on the next stage of your musical journey, aged between 14-25 years old, have a minimum of 15-20 mins of original music and want to absorb music industry tips and tricks, then this is the program for YOU! 

Program Outcomes Include: ♫ Rehearsal Skills ♫  Songwriting, Transitions and Refining Songs ♫  Constructing a Gig Ready Polished Set of Original Music  + 1 Cover (25-30 minutes) ♫  Contacting and liaising with an Adelaide Music Venue ♫ Promotional/Social Media Skills/Vibes and Imagery ♫  Graphic Design/ Developing Assets ♫ Rollout Release Plan/Single Launch ♫  Professional Recording ♫  Distribution Skills ♫  Photoshoot ♫  Merch ♫  Stage Presence  ♫ Performance Opportunities ♫ Live Gig in the City!

Program Details

• Date: Wednesdays April 29th - July 1st

• Live Performance Dates: June 4th, June 18th

• Gig Day: TBD

• Session Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm

• Cost: $150/per band member
